In the course of providing products and services, we will disclose personal information to an overseas entity.
The overseas entity SENEC, a company of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, is located in Leipzig, Germany. This information is provided to enable us to provide our products and services. The monitoring system for the Senec Home products is managed from Germany and the information provided is required to monitor the health and safety of the Senec Home product. This information will be governed by the legislation in the 3rd country. In this case Germany, which is bound by the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which may have a higher threshold for privacy and data protections than Australia.
You agree that where personal information is disclosed to the country above, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) will not apply to that information.

Therefore, you should review the terms of this policy periodically to make sure that you are aware of how we collect, hold, store and use personal information.
If you consider a breach of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) has occurred, you may direct your query to our Privacy Officer and we will attempt to resolve your complaint.
